I made a new course on Udemy (Math Game with JavaScript)
As a web developer / computer programmer I always build new projects and learn new stuff. I spend a lot of time designing and then coding/programming my ideas.
This time I built a “Math Game with JavaScript”. That’s why I said:
It’s not a “ make money from home, with little to no effort, & get rich quick”.
If you work on something valuable, and spend enough time, energy, put your heart into your work. People will know whether your thing is valuable or not.
My strategies for making Money (Sales) on Udemy.com (as a newbie)
Now as I said I’m a an amateur course creator on Udemy.com like most of you. Because I don’t have a bunch of true followers on Udemy yet. I had to came up with an idea.
So it was simple. When I made my course for free. People always from other website can promote your free work for free. Because external websites are using Ads on their sites. Getting visitors for them is important. The best way for them to get visitors is offer quality free Udemy courses.
That’s a win-win situation. I always give to 1000 students a course of mine for free. In return I have 1000+ more followers per each course.
That’s not the right strategy for all. but for me it works and every-time I make a new course. My older students from previous courses buy that actually.
Make quality Content & Try to create more courses on Udemy
Now I believe in quality course all the time. Quality for me is about explanation and the amount of information.
I personally don’t like courses& instructors who skip something assuming you know that thing. I’m basically allergic to Incomplete and dry courses.
If you are going to make a course, be responsible for that course.
I make my courses in an easy digestible way. Because that is how I learn myself.
As Albert Einstein said:
“Everything Should Be Made as Simple as Possible, But Not Simpler”
I’ll leave you with Einstein’s words: But one more things is
- Make Quality content
- Make more of of those quality stuff. (more content = more money)
